The 2026 Armada NISMO is the Lamborghini Urus of Nissan

The 2026 Armada NISMO is the Lamborghini Urus of Nissan. When someone in your family wants to go on a grocery run but the cargo won't fit in the Z or GT-R... you can still send a strong signal to the outside world that those cars are indeed back home in the driveway.

After you get over the attention the body kit gets, it begins to feel like a normal Armada in almost every way. If Nissan has any hope of selling these to the masses, they made the right call. Normal people are going to end up driving this.

NO, it doesn't have a GT-R engine.

It has the same 3.5L twin turbo V6, adaptive air suspension, 4WD + 2-speed transfer case, and 8,500 lb towing capacity as any other Armada.

Everything has just been sprinkled with a little Nismo magic dust. Little bit louder and a little bit quicker.

460 HP and 516 Lb-ft. Redline at 6,000 RPM. That's +35hp over the other Armadas.

It definitely feels sharper, but there's only so much you can do with a 6,102 lb SUV 😂 a GT-R engine wouldn't have solved that. It would've provided a few more laughs, though.

That's all we wanted.

It's still rides nicely and has a bunch of room inside... it just doesn't do anything that an Armada "shouldn't" be able to do. There's nothing shocking about it. A Toyota Sequoia and Volvo XC90 both have more torque.

The Armada Pro-4x is still the most compelling product Nissan sells today. (I haven't driven the Nismo Z yet)
