How The 2011 BMW 1M and Porsche 911 GT3 RS Shifted The Sports Car World Forever.

Hey guys! Welcome back to the show. Today we're driving two great German sports cars, a 2011 BMW 1M and a 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. While both fill very different shoes in the market at the time of their respective releases, both also represent a MASSIVE change for each manufacturer. The 2011 1M is the first turbocharged M car, straying away from the classic, high-revving N/A nature of all previous releases from the ///M division. The 991.1 GT3 RS, on the other hand, was the first Porsche 911 GT3 RS unavailable with a manual gearbox :( Both have their ups and downs, but we know they should age like a fine wine as time progresses and shows us a much more automated sports car future.
