Today I'm driving a forgotten gem from the mid-2000s BMW lineup. This is a 6-speed 2006 BMW 130i M-Sport, fresh off the boat from Japan. The 130i was never sold in North America and somehow fit perfectly in the shadow of the BMW 1M and E46 M3 at the time, casting itself into a forgotten history... until now. Under the hood is a 3.0L N52 N/A inline-6 putting down 261HP and 232lb/ft of torque to the rear wheels, a simple recipe that was *almost* made brilliant. Enjoy!
