The Evo VIII is the eighth generation of the Lancer Evolution series manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors. The Evo 8 was first released in 2003 and is powered by the 4G63 inline-four 2.0L turbocharged engine. Production of this car continued until 2005 and was followed by the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX which was released later that year.
